Tutor of the Faculty of Dentistry No. 1 of the Tashkent State Dental Institute, Kulmakhamedov Suyunboy Fayzullayevich, together with his 214th group of students, declared February 21 as International Mother Language Day by UNESCO. This date has been widely celebrated internationally since 2001. Mother tongue is the native language of every people, nation, and tribe. The vocabulary of a mother tongue consists mainly of words and concepts that express the life, culture, and traditions of the people belonging to this language. The development of the mother tongue is inextricably linked with the social development of every people, nation, and tribe. The essence of International Mother Language Day reflects the special love of each people for their language, which is the core of their national thinking, spirituality, and spirit. Since this day is celebrated as a holiday of the mother tongue, on the occasion of this holiday, every person's feelings of love, respect, appreciation and dignity for their homeland and mother tongue are renewed. Mother tongue is the language of every people, nation, and ethnic group.
