Solving basic tasks on medical problems of patients in institutions of the healthcare system, state and non-state enterprises, organizations, state administration bodies using modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of dental diseases, solving complex issues on improving the quality of methods of dental care and dispensary observation, developing dentistry, participating in scientific research work in the Academy of Sciences and research centers, scientific and production associations, preparing programs, standards, scientific articles, theses, scientific research works, regulatory documents, reference books, reports related to the healthcare system; Types of professional activities include medical and preventive, operational and emergency medical care, diagnostics and treatment, rehabilitation, medical and social, organizational and management, scientific and research. After completing pedagogical retraining in the field of bachelor's education, a student can teach special subjects in secondary specialized and vocational educational institutions. He can continue his studies in a master's degree and clinical residency in dentistry specialties. He can also conduct scientific research as an independent researcher in the established manner.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-2215 dated July 22, 2014, the Tashkent State Institute of Dentistry was established to train highly qualified personnel in the field of dentistry, to train highly qualified medical workers and scientists who meet modern requirements in the field of dentistry. For three years, the faculties of surgery and therapeutic dentistry operated as independent faculties. Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-5216 “On Amendments and Additions to Certain Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan” dated October 30, 2017. By order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 3, 2017 No. 678, order of the rector of the Tashkent State Dental Institute dated November 9, 2017 No. 670, resolution of the Council of the Tashkent State Dental Institute dated December 27, 2011 No. 6/1 and order of the rector of the Tashkent State Dental Institute dated December 30, 2017/779 / AF, the activities of the Faculty of Surgical Dentistry were suspended on January 2, 2018, and a new faculty “Faculty of Dentistry” was established under the Faculty of Therapeutic Dentistry of the institute, and all suspended work was transferred to the spring semester of 2017-2018. The forms of education based on state subsidies and payment agreements were fully preserved.
