INTERNATIONAL STUDENT OLYMPIAD OF
MEDICAL UNIVERSITIES
"MEDICINE AND INNOVATIONS"
We invite you to take part in the International Olympiad for students of medical universities "Medicine and Innovation", which will be held on April 7-8, 2023.
The purpose of the Olympiad "Medicine and Innovations" is to popularize knowledge in the field of various areas of medicine and fundamental sciences, as well as to increase students' interest in educational activities and science, to create opportunities for students to demonstrate their scientific The objectives of the Olympiad:
1. Identify and identify gifted students, contribute to their development;
2. Increasing the level of knowledge of students in medical disciplines;
3. Formation of students' skills and abilities in practical medicine;
4. The use by students of the acquired knowledge, skills and abilities in the analysis of clinical cases;
5. Introducing students of medical universities to the heritage of world and national medicine for the benefit of the people.
Olympiad languages: Uzbek, Russian and English.
Grand opening of the Olympiad "Medicine and Innovations": April 7, 2023 at 10:00.
THE OLYMPIAD WILL BE HELD ON THE FOLLOWING DISCIPLINES:

RULES OF PARTICIPATION
Students of medical universities are invited to participate in the Olympiad, in accordance with the direction of education and the year of study.
One participant can choose only one academic discipline. 10 students from each university can participate in 18 different subjects.
The Olympiad will consist of 3 competitions:
1. Greetings from the university team (video clip);
2. Competition of scientific projects of young scientists;
3. Competitions in subject areas.
The Olympiad is held in an offline / online format.
1. “Team Greetings”
In the video, the Team presents a presentation of their university and city.
Time limit: 5 minutes. The video in .mp4 or .wmv format must be sent to olimpiadamed2023@gmail.com by March 25, 2023 (file name: Team greeting - university name).
The number of university participants is not limited: 1 video from each university
Participation form: offline

2. "Competition of scientific projects of young scientists"
Form of participation in the competition: presentation of a report presenting the results of their research work.
Reports must be prepared in the MS Power Point application and sent by March 25, 2023 to the e-mail olimpiadamed2023@gmail.com (file name: “Scientific project - full name of the participant)
Time limit: up to 5 minutes.
The number of participants is limited: 1 participant is regulated from each university.
Form of participation: offline and online

2. Competitions in subject areas
I – round
- Testing (time: from 13:00 to 14:00).
Number of questions: 20
Time: 30 minutes
II - round
- Oral task (time: from 14:00 to 17:00).
Maximum score: 100 points
1. Question on discipline (1 question), maximum number of points: 25 points;
2. Solution of situational problems (1 task), maximum number: 25 points;
3. Assessment for the implementation of practical skills (1 practical skill), the maximum number of points: 50 points.
The sum of I - round and II - round - is the result of the points scored
Maximum score: 200 points.
Form of participation: offline
The number of participants is limited: 10 participants are regulated from each university, while each participant can participate in up to 2 subjects and only in offline format. Participants of this type of Olympiad will receive separate places of honor and certificates for participation.
In this category, a team classification is provided (winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad will be determined by the total number of points scored).
Summarizing.
Participants' responses will be judged by a team of international jury.
The winners of the Olympiad will be awarded diplomas, and the participants will receive certificates of the Olympiad.
The winners will be awarded on April 8 at 14:00 at the closing of the International Olympiad "Medicine and Innovations".
The list of participants in the Olympiad and the accompanying leader, approved by the Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation must be provided by e-mail of the Olympiad. The leader needs to send information about the participants (Appendix No. 1) along with the list to olimpiadamed2023@gmail.com by March 25, 2023.
Additional information, the program of the Olympiad, contact numbers and e-mails of those responsible for the disciplines of the Olympiad will be posted on the official website https://tsdi.uz.
