In cooperation with the Department of Spirituality and Enlightenment of the Tashkent State Stomatological Institute and the Information Resource Center, a roundtable discussion was held on the topic "Third Renaissance - through the eyes of the youth".
We set ourselves the main goal of creating a new renaissance in Uzbekistan, i.e. the foundation of the third renaissance, through large-scale democratic changes in our country, including educational reforms. Speaking of this, first of all, the essence of the third Renaissance should be deeply understood by each of us, the whole society.
"If we look at history, we will see that our motherland, located at the crossroads of the Great Silk Road, has long been one of the centers of high civilization and culture. The rich scientific and cultural heritage of our people, ancient inscriptions stamped on stone, testify to its deep roots," says Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
After gaining independence, it was necessary to deal with national revival for a quarter of a century. Now that we have moved from national recovery to national growth, the head of state has made it a strategic task to achieve the third Renaissance. In fact, historically, we experienced two Renaissances: the first in the 9th-12th centuries, the second in the last quarter of the 14th century and the first quarter of the 16th century. geniuses, great scholars - Bukhari, Termizi, mutakallim - Moturidi and Abul Muin.
The consciousness of Nasafi and other famous secular and religious scholars enlightened the world. In the Second Renaissance, great architects, composers, painters, historians appeared - Ulugbek, Ghiyaziddin Jamshid Koshi, Qazizoda Rumi, Ali Kushchi, Lutfiy, Jami, Navoi, Behzad, and created works that amaze the world even today. During both Renaissance periods, we were among the advanced, progressive nations of the world. If we want to reach this level again, we need to implement the Third Renaissance.
Man is the creator of the New Renaissance. Every society educates the person it needs. Based on the level and trends of his development, he imposes a number of moral, religious, professional, legal and other requirements on him. The ultimate goal of society's development is man, his prosperous, free and safe life. A person who fully meets the needs of society has been called differently in different periods. Yusuf Khos Hajibu was called "tugaler", Farabi "fazilkishi", figures of Sufism called "perfect man". The terms "all-round developed person" and "harmoniously developed person" are also used. After independence, we began to use the terms "perfect man" for the individual and "perfect generation" for the younger generation. It's not about the term. No matter what quality we use, we must first of all take into account the trends of the development of the society and the features of our national spirituality when educating the future man. Therefore, we need to model the requirements of the "fourth industrial revolution" based on artificial intelligence and high technologies and adapt the educational system to them. Similarly, to preserve our national identity, we must find optimal ways to adequately teach our mother tongue, history, literature, and art.
It is very necessary to improve and modernize our traditions. There is a need for a change in the social consciousness and behavior of people, and new ideals and values must be decided.
