The Olympics became a point that united all of us with feelings of Motherland, flag, anthem, pride, and pride. Many people ask where is the new Uzbekistan? Today, it is known and recognized to the world in the image of our athletes.

Uzbekistan took the 13th place among 206 countries, the first place among the countries of Central Asia, CIS, Islamic Unity, Economic Cooperation and Organization of Turkic States. Taking the fourth place among Asian countries, after only China, Japan and South Korea, is a great result for the new history.

 Before that, the best result was in Rio de Janeiro - 21st place. Our athletes won 8 gold medals in this Olympiad, but in 32 years we won 10 gold medals in eight Summer Olympic Games.

It is good that our girls won the competition with determination and strong will. For the first time in history, a female athlete became the Olympic champion. Diyora Keldiyorova will go down in sports history not only with this, but also as the girl who won the first Olympic gold in judo for Uzbekistan.

Svetlana Osipova is one of our girls who won silver first in history.

Until then, we had only one medal among girls in eight Summer Olympics - Yekaterina Khilko's bronze medal in Beijing 2008.
