In collaboration with Professor Detlef Fexner of the University of Hamburg, Germany, an international training conference on “Latin Language and Medical Terminology” was organized.

On March 11, 2022 Tashkent State Institute of Stomatology in cooperation with the Department of Latin language and Foreign Languages, Department of Anatomy and professor of Hamburg University Detlef Fexner organized an international educational and methodological conference on the topic “Latin language and medical terminology”.

At the event, the vice-rector for academic affairs of TD S.R.Baymakov made a speech and welcomed the guests who visited our institute with warm words and said that the beginning of partnership would be productive and longitudinal.

During the event, the head of the “Senioren experten service”, the General coordinator of Germany in Uzbekistan Karina Ayvazova provided all participants of the event with the information about the possibilities of the “Senioren experten service” Organization for the Medical University of Uzbekistan, the head of the Cultural Department of the German Embassy Adlxa Hurrey, the leading specialist of the Department Zlixa Tileuova informed the participants about the opportunities for medical professionals who are interested in advanced training.

Detlef Fexner, a professor of the University of Hamburg, spoke about the prospects of teaching the subject of “Latin language and medical terminology in Medical University "and encouraged the students to the subject as well as the teachers of our institute.

The director of the Scientific-Research Center for pedagogical and psychological diagnosis of Uzbekistan Djurayev Dilmurod Uralovich, who participated in the event, spoke about “the criteria for the qualification and retraining of Teachers of Latin and medical terminology in Uzbekistan”.

The head of the department of “Latin and foreign languages” N. Israilova informed the participants of the conference about the goals and prospects of  cooperation between the two countries.
