A cooperation agreement has been signed between the Tashkent State Institute of Dentistry and the prestigious Istinya University of Turkey.

Today, the development of the health care system, in particular, the system of higher medical education on the basis of advanced foreign experience, is yielding positive results.

Tashkent State Institute of Dentistry is one of the first institutes in our country, accredited by the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME).

Today, the institute cooperates with more than 100 educational institutions and research centers in 23 countries.

A cooperation agreement has been signed between the prestigious Istinya University of Turkey and the Tashkent State Institute of Dentistry in order to train competitive medical personnel, improve the skills of teachers and further develop research.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan U. Sobirov, Rector of the University of Turkey Erdol Karoz, Rector of the Tashkent State Institute of Dentistry N. Haidarov.

More than 20,000 students study at 12 faculties of Turkey's leading Istinya University. In the field of medicine, educational and scientific-practical processes are organized for university students in the world-famous clinics "Liv Hospital" and "Medical Park". The university clinics operate in accordance with the world standards JCI and ISO 9001 and play an important role in the training of medical personnel.

During the conference, the opening ceremony of the new department of the Tashkent State Institute of Dentistry "Onko School" was held. As a result of these efforts, the necessary conditions have been created for the students of the institute to conduct classes on the basis of innovative and modern educational technologies, as well as to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice.

It should be noted that about 5,000 students study at 6 faculties of the Tashkent State Institute of Dentistry. Necessary conditions have been created in the simulation center, student polyclinic and scientific-practical centers for students to study in accordance with international standards.

With the proper use of the created conditions, reforms are underway to further develop medical education, improve medical care for the population, as well as to train talented and competitive personnel.
