"WIDENING PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN REDUCING CORRUPTIVE FACTORS IN STATE AND PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION"

It is known that Article 5 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Combating Corruption" defines the main directions of the state policy in the field of combating corruption, in particular, raising the legal consciousness and legal culture of the population, forming an intolerant attitude towards corruption in society, preventing corruption in all spheres of state and community life. implementation of preventive measures is one of them.

Today, state and non-state organizations and other institutions of civil society are carrying out propaganda work among the population and young people in cooperation. In addition, in the Tashkent State Dental Institute, in cooperation with the Public Fund under the Tashkent City Council of People's Deputies, a roundtable discussion on the topic "Expanding public participation in reducing corruption factors in state and community management" was organized. Representatives of the Tashkent Regional Anti-Corruption Council, director of the Public Fund under the Tashkent City Council of People's Deputies Kuchkarova Hayotkhon Aliyevna, Deputy Chairman of the Tashkent City Council of People's Deputies Matibayev Toshpolat Baltabayevych, head of the department of the "Development Strategy" Center Kholbekov Avazbek Mekhmonovich, Tashkent city administration Husainov Sardorbek Ernazarovich, head of internal anti-corruption control department, Abdusatarov Bohodir Abdurashidovich, deputy head of Ipoteka bank's practice department of Tashkent city, and teachers, tutors and students of the institute participated.

At the meeting, People's Deputies Matibayev Toshpolat Baltabayevych, Deputy of the Tashkent City Council, and Kholbekov Avazbek Mekhmonovich, Head of the Department of the "Strategy of Development" Center, gave a lecture on the theme "Fighting corruption - an important factor in the renewal of the state and society". During his speech, Deputy Tashpolat Matibayev said that today in our Republic, targeted actions are being taken against the evil of corruption, that fighting against corruption has become the priority of the state policy in Uzbekistan, and conceptually important normative legal documents adopted in the field in recent years are aimed at preventing it. he noted that it can be seen in the example of administrative reforms.

Husainov Sardorbek Ernazarovich, the head of the Internal Anti-Corruption Control Department of the Tashkent city administration, also participated in this meeting and informed the audience about the work being done to fight corruption in the administration. Also, within the framework of the topic, he showed the participants of the event videos about propaganda against the evil of corruption.

The second part of the event took the form of an open dialogue with the participants, in which students asked their questions and received relevant answers from experts. During the question-and-answer process, the experts gave full answers to the questions asked by the participants about the activities of the Anti-Corruption Agency and the National Anti-Corruption Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its regional councils, as well as their legal bases, tasks and functions.

Also, at the end of the event, a letter of thanks was given to the management of the Tashkent State Dental Institute for the excellent organization of this meeting.
