On February 18, 2022, an international online conference “Current Issues in Pediatric Dentistry and Prevention” was held among universities.

As guests and authors of reports at the conference, leading experts, scientists, teachers of the Belarusian State Medical University, Tashkent State Dental Institute, Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, and FGBOU VO FESMU Ministry of Health of Russia. The event was opened by Zhmerenetsky Konstantin Vyacheslavovich - the rector of FSBEI HE FEHSMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the vice-rector for science and innovation of the Tashkent State Dental Institute - Shomurodov Kakhramon Erkinovich and the director of the school of dentistry KazNMU IM. S.D. Asfendiyarova - Dilbarkhanov Bassymbek Perdebekovich. It was noted that this conference provides an opportunity to discuss and consider important issues of pediatric dentistry, exchange experiences, especially when representatives of different states gather at the site.

The conference program included topical issues of pediatric dentistry that require close attention from the dental community.

The audience highly appreciated the report of Professor Olga Esenovna Bekzhanova; head Department of Faculty Therapeutic Dentistry of the TSSI on the topic: "Oral organs as target organs of the Sars-Co-2 virus." As well as the report "Assessment of the sealing ability of bioceramics in endodontics" Kopbayeva Mayra Taytoleuovna, professor of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry of the NJSC "Kazakh National Medical University. S.D. Asfendiyarov” As the participants of the conference noted, the reports will make it possible to better navigate the modern concepts of treatment.

The scientific-practical conference "Actual Issues of Pediatric Dentistry and Prevention" attracted more than 1000 listeners, which indicates the availability and relevance of such events for the purpose of continuous professional improvement. At the same time, it should be noted that due to the peculiarity of restrictive measures during the spread of a new coronovirus infection, the participants used the online form. Teachers and students of the Tashkent State Dental Institute gathered in an audience connected to the conference.

In conclusion, the participants discussed the points of further cooperation and outlined the topics for future conferences, taking into account the needs of everyone.
