"Akademik K.A." dedicated to the birthday of Kamiljon Ahmedjanovich Zufarov, the founder of the Central Asian School of Morphologists, academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, doctor of medical sciences, honored scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Tashkent State Dental Institute. "Zufarov School of Morphologists" Republican scientific and practical conference was held
The conference was held with the participation of students of the Academy. Among them: Erkin Atabaevich Tursunov, Kudus Ilhamovich Rasulov, Shukhrat Boisovich Irgashev, Iloman Mukhamedovich Mukhammedov, Faizulla Nigmatullaevich Bakadirov, Murtazaev Saidalo Murtazaevich spoke and expressed warm words about the Academy.
The relevance and depth of the teacher's scientific research has always attracted the attention of scientists. They often traveled abroad, where they attended leading universities and congresses with lectures. By the way, they played a big role in holding the first anatomy, histology and a number of other congresses in Tashkent. It is important to note that they were the organizers and chairmen of the first congress of morphologists of Uzbekistan.
During his career, our teacher, who devoted himself to the field of science, trained 55 doctors of science and 180 candidates of science. At the same time, he is the author of more than 500 scientific works.
The main directions of his scientific research are the functional morphology of compensatory-adaptive processes in tissues and organs in normal and pathological processes; cellular mechanisms of filtration, secretion, absorption processes and their regulation.
His services in the scientific field have been duly appreciated throughout the country:
- Honored Worker of Science of the Uzbek SSR in 1968;
- Beruni state award of the Uzbek SSR;
- Honorary member of the Czechoslovak Medical Association named after Ya.Purkine in 1976;
- Honorary member of the Bulgarian Association of Anatomists, Histologists and Embryologists in 1978
- He was awarded with many awards, such as a true member of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.
Teachers were active not only in science, but also in management work. In 1962-2002, he worked as the head of the histology department of the Tashkent Medical Institute, and at the same time as the rector of the institute in 1965-1971, and made a great contribution to its recognition in the world.
Academician Zufarov was the founder of the project of the new Tashkent State Medical Institute. He approved the design and estimate documents and started the construction of the second medical institute in the capital. By attracting the best teachers and training candidates, the rapid growth of scientific and pedagogical potential in these institutions began to develop this field in general.
But, of course, the most important thing in their lives is the creation of a unique school of morphologists in the country. Currently, his students, who have been doing scientific work under the tutelage of teacher Komiljon Akhmedjanovich, are teaching the secrets of science to dozens of students as worthy successors.
