About Dental and Maxillofacial Scientific and Practical Center

Center tasks:

 

conducting in-depth scientific research on the development of effective methods for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of dental and maxillofacial diseases;

 

introduction of advanced methods of dental technology;

 

formation of a high-tech material and scientific base,

as well as a national school designed to provide specialized medical care at a high level of quality and the requirements of international standards in dentistry and maxillofacial surgery.

 

application of biological and artificial materials

when restoring tissues and organs of the maxillofacial region;

 

improvement of the scientific and methodological base for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dental and maxillofacial diseases;

 

development of state educational standards, curricula and programs, textbooks and teaching aids in the field of dentistry and maxillofacial surgery;

provides organizational, methodological and scientific and practical assistance to specialized institutions in the regions of the republic;

 

forms and develops a national school of highly qualified specialists in their field;

 

submits for consideration to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan proposals on priority areas for the development of scientific research in the field of medicine in the specialization of the Center;

 

carries out clinical trials of medicines, dental materials and equipment, instruments and other medical supplies, as well as methods of diagnosis, treatment

and rehabilitation in dentistry and maxillofacial surgery;

 

presents its own scientific and technological achievements to the medical community abroad;

 

prepares and publishes its own scientific, educational and methodological and information and reference materials on dental and maxillofacial diseases;

 

carries out training, retraining and advanced training of medical specialists in the field of dentistry and maxillofacial surgery, conduct training seminars.
