On April 12, 2025, The Tashkent State Dental Institute and the Uzbekistan State University of world languages jointly held a conference entitled medical education reform: prospects for the development of the discipline "Latin language".

The conference was attended by TDSI rector Nadir Kadyrovich Khaydarov and Özdjtu rector Ilham Aliyev. As you know, Latin is the main language in medicine. Therefore, by the efforts of the leadership of the TDSI, the Department of "Latin language and foreign language in medicine" was established in Uzbekistan. The conference moderated by the head of the Department Israilova Maqsuda Nigmatullayevna also held a diploma ceremony for graduates of the course of retraining educators in the subjects of Latin language and fundamentals of medical terminology in our country.

At the end of the event, the Tashkent State Dental Institute and the memorandum of cooperation of the Uzbekistan State University of world languages were signed.
